The focus of the Synthesis session was a design challenge for all the first year itp-ers to “Create an experience in the browser using p5 that responds to a single interaction — the press of a button. You are randomly assigned a partner and should work together on this challenge. ”
This was my first endeavour at synthesising between creating an interactive sketch with p5 and using the an Arduino to play with the sketch. My partner was Jen Kagan and we had an hour and a half to make our button work and interact with our sketch.
We used a force senor to control the visuals, affecting the opacity as the pressure grows, and above a certain threshold the screen changes.
Here it is 🙂
